Do we have to change our accounting software?

No, there is no need for a costly accounting conversion. You will continue to use your current accounting software. Since RedTeam facilitates all of your Project Management, your accounting software can be private, simple and affordable. RedTeam will notify your accounting department of cash receipts from customers and approved Disbursement Authorizations for vendor checks. Let RedTeam do the rest!

Why did RedTeam choose the SaaS platform?

Most of the established Project Management solutions are client/server, requiring every user to maintain a connection to a physical server at their office. RedTeam Software chose Software as a Service (SaaS) to free our customers from client server hassles, and to enable the entire project delivery team (including customers and vendors) to collaborate on projects from any computer with an internet connection. SaaS is also referred to as "Cloud Based Computing" and is clearly the platform for doing business in the next decade.

How is Security Access handled with RedTeam?

Your system administrator assigns roles and permissions that control access to processes and information throughout RedTeam. All user access is managed at the facility and project level. RedTeam provides very detailed permissions but is very efficiently managed through the use of multiple roles and facility based access.

Do I need to purchase a dedicated server for RedTeam?

No, leave the expense and headaches of maintaining a server and software installations behind! RedTeam is web-based so all of this is taken care of by our team of engineers. All you need is a computer with internet access!

Would a subcontractor benefit from RedTeam software?

Yes, definitely! Subcontractors face unique challenges in managing labor, materials and equipment. RedTeam streamlines people, processes and information allowing the trade contractor to focus on delivering successful and profitable projects.

How will my field personnel utilize RedTeam?

Project Managers, Superintendents, and anyone else that needs access to RedTeam project data needs a computer with internet access. A laptop with an Internet Air Card provides excellent access from the job-site, home, hotel or on the road!

Do customer and vendor team members need to purchase a session of RedTeam?

No, RFI's are sent as an email with a link to reply with the requested information. RFQ's are sent to vendors as an email with a link to view the project scope of work as well as all drawings and specifications. Although many property managers and vendors eventually subscribe to RedTeam, collaborating on our customer's projects is complimentary, minimizing paper, reducing response time and mitigating risk!

Can I use my existing Cost Code structure in RedTeam?

Yes, your current cost codes and divisions (along with customers, facilities, vendors, and much more) will be imported into RedTeam for you. Our certified consultants will collect and prepare your existing data so that your team will begin training on your projects!

Can I access RedTeam using any internet browser?

No, at this time RedTeam Software only works with Internet Explorer. Due to the critical and timely nature of Project Delivery information, RedTeam selected the most commonly used and most reliable platform. In the future, as other browsers become more stable and globally accepted, we will add more cross browser support.

What are the system requirements for my computers?

Does RedTeam track vendor insurance and license compliance?

Yes, RedTeam tracks both the vendor's general insurance as well as project specific or 'Named Insured' insurance certificates. This is part of RedTeam's commitment to mitigating risk for all team members!

Is Technical Support available from RedTeam?

Yes, within the RedTeam application a Support tool encourages users to enter both 'How Do I?" questions and to report "Oops" if encountered. RedTeam has record breaking response times, acknowledging the request immediately and responding within 1 business day or less. For more immediate needs, RedTeam offers on-line support chat as well as live Toll-Free Technical Support in both English and Spanish.
