RedTeam has just released new Contact Management and Social Media features. Contact Management now includes an automated process for verification of contact information. As contacts are entered into RedTeam, a "verification request" is sent via email to the contact to ensure information was entered accurately and completely. So far, it appears that as many as one-third of the verification requests sent by RedTeam are being returned with corrections. As simple as it seems, this new feature will have an immediate impact on the integrity of RedTeam users' critical contact information.
In addition, RedTeam added an entirely new collaboration view on each project's Team Tab. This "news feed" includes real-time updates of important Team Activity – member status changes, system events, photos and project transactions – in a familiar, easy-to-use, social-media-style format. This view makes it possible to quickly assimilate updates from people and events across your entire company and project portfolio!

RedTeam’s Progress Bill allows you to tag discrete items on the Schedule of Values as Owner's Contingency. This simplifies management of Owner’s Contingency through the duration of the project and provides excellent reporting to your clients.
RedTeam provides real-time, web-based timecard entry from any internet connection. RedTeam minimizes your labor cost risk (and supports DCAA audits) by utilizing Labor Authorizations by Workorder and Cost code. Site Managers may now click “Check Weather” and RedTeam will utilize the zip code from the Service Location to insert local weather into the Progress Report. Although the vast majority of team collaboration is now accomplished via email, some vendors still prefer faxed documents. RedTeam now facilitates faxed Request for Quotes to your contacts from within your Workorder. This feature requires a pre-paid package allowing you to send faxes domestically and internationally if needed.
RedTeam has released new functionality for managing and controlling the Buyout process. Items in your budget that have yet to be committed can be a hidden source of either profit or loss. Users will now be able to add and organize "At Risk" Items to expedite Buyout. A new view of Buyout "At Risk" helps keep your team focused on Estimate to Complete. A new tool even allows the creation of Commitments right from "At Risk" line items.

RedTeam now facilitates interaction with Entities with multiple types of relationships including Customer, Vendor, Third Party or Occupant. Unique attributes necessary for each type of business relationship may be added at any time. Extended Attributes may be added to Team Players. Once linked, a Team Player may have multiple types of business relationships including Customer, Vendor, Third Party or Occupant.

RedTeam has joined the SAME (Society of American Military Engineers). SAME promotes engineering, construction and maintenance for our US military facilities world-wide. RedTeam Software is known for its sophisticated security controls that manage user access to information by Customer, Facility and Project. Security permissions are easily managed using Roles that are assigned to individual Team Members. System administrators may now assign Multiple Roles to users, providing the flexibility to support team members that perform several functions.
RedTeam facilitates the complete “buyout” of each project including Purchase Orders, Task Orders, Labor, Equipment and Expense Authorizations. The Committed Audit has been expanded to display the Scope (original contract, change order, etc.) and the amount Paid by commitment. Providing the project team with a complete and current snapshot of commitments will directly impact the profitability of each project!
RedTeam issues Request for Quotes (RFQ) to vendors and then compares both the price and the scope of the vendor quotes better than any system on the market. RedTeam was expanded to streamline requesting and entering vendor quotes with an Import RFQ feature, mass email distribution to vendors and the generation of a “blank” RFQ to send to vendors not in RedTeam. RedTeam continues to promote true online collaboration between team members, including vendors!

On construction projects questions are asked and answered using the RFI or Request for Information. RedTeam generates the RFI and emails the customer or owner representative. The recipient simply clicks a link within the RFI, enters the answer and attaches any needed files. Prompt answers to RFI’s keep the project on track and mitigate risk for all parties. RedTeam’s Delinquent RFI Gadget provides contractors and project managers with a dashboard snapshot of unanswered RFI’s facilitating proactive management!
